Xuejie and Matthias’ wedding was set against the stunning backdrop of Oxford’s Bodleian Library and the Oxford Union.  Two stunning venues for their beautiful day.  It was a pleasure to work on another lovely wedding with brilliant wedding planner Emily from The Moment Studio (www.tmstudiouk.com) and fabulous photographer Chloe from www.caughtthelight.com who took these amazing photos!

Xuejie chose to have two separate floral looks for the ceremony and reception . Simple large foliage urns and vases of white flowers for the ceremony along with piles of books to reflect the setting of the ceremony in the Bodleian library and then soft romantic shades of coral, pale pink and raspberry for the reception at the Oxford union.

Xuejie asked us to keep the bride and bridesmaids bouquets small and neat so the girls carried small mixed domes of roses and spray roses.

For the reception we supplied lots of small mixed gold vases of flowers that were scattered down the dining tables and on the tables outside for the drinks reception. Xuejie’s mother added traditional chinese fans to the tables and piles of books as a nod to the Bodleian.

Xuejie and Matthias finished their day with a carefully choreographed first dance tango!

Thank you both for letting us be part of your amazing day.
