Sophie and David’s stunning Ardington House wedding

Sophie and David chose the lovely Ardington House as the venue for their wedding.  Ardington is a stunning stately home near Wantage in Oxfordshire that offers couples exclusive use for the whole weekend.  It comes complete with a beautiful ceremony temple set on an island as well as several acres of private garden and a large marquee.

Sophie chose a mix of ivory, blush and accents of rose gold for her flowers and made the most of the venue’s lovely features with a large temple swag and stunning top table garland.

Sophie carried a bouquet of hydrangea, stocks, roses, astilbe and gypsophila

The bridesmaids carried all white bouquets of hydrangea and gypsophila.

David and Sophie’s ceremony took place on the little island in the grounds which is reached by a small bridge.  We decorated the temple on the island with a lovely garland and flowers and foliage which was  wound around the pillars.

Following the ceremony the reception took place in the marquee in the grounds.

Tall glass flute vases topped with domes of white hydrangea, white roses and gypsophila were placed on each table along with rose gold mini champagne bottles on each guest place setting.

The top table was decorated with a long runner of roses, hydrangeas, astilbe and gypsophila picking up the rose gold hints on the menus and champagne bottles.
