Martin and Nicola’s wedding was the first of 6 for us this year at Le Manoir. It is a stunning venue, not least because of the wonderful setting and beautiful food but it is also a delight to decorate with its stylish new glass conservatory, elegant dining room and pretty private walled garden.

Nicola chose seasonal peonies as the main flower in her bridal work and added pretty blush pink and ivory roses, stocks and hydrangeas for the other arrangements. Her brilliant reaction to first seeing her bouquet of white peonies, brunia berries and ivory roses was so lovely and makes my day whenever I see it!

The ceremony took place right next door in St Mary’s church Great Milton so guests just had a short stroll along the road to get to the reception venue. We placed a heart shaped wreath at the entrance to the church to welcome guests.

More hearts were hung on the church doors and large pedestal arrangements were placed at the top of the aisle.

The staff at Le Manoir decided to offer Nicola use of their golf buggy to get from The Hotel to the Church so we decided to decorate it with a couple of garlands of flowers! A bit of impromptu floristry on site!!!

We decorated the pillars at the entrance to La Belle Epoque.

More hearts echoed the ones at the church.

On the tables we placed wreaths of hydrangea, roses and peonies around the lovely crystal candelabra owned by the venue.

The table plan sits right at the entrance to La Belle Epoque so it was decorated with a lovely garland of flowers .
