Emma and Tom’s wedding took place on a sunny warm Saturday at the beginning of June.  The ceremony was in the lovely Church of St Peter and St Paul in Kings Sutton. The church is set back from a small village green in the centre of the village, with a lovely lychgate at the bottom of the path, it makes an idyllic setting for a ceremony.  Emma and Tom chose a gorgeous mix of pale and mid blue shades mixed with white and ivory and plenty of greenery.  It was such a pretty colour palette to work with and the inclusion of fragrant sweet peas and stocks meant it smelled lovely too.

We decorated the lychgate at the bottom of the church path to welcome guests as they arrived and placed pew ends and pedestals in the church

Following the ceremony the reception took place at Kirtlington Park.  Kirtlington is a stunning stately home which is newly renovated and has elegant light filled reception rooms which provided the perfect backdrop for Tom and Emma’s wedding reception along with elegant grounds for their drinks reception and photos.

The long trestle tables in the reception rooms were decorated with foliage garlands filled with powder blue hydrangea heads, eryngium thistles and gentians.  We added large vases on side tables throughout the reception rooms and massed lots of powder blue hydrangea heads on the mantelpieces.  All the bridal bouquets were used in vases on the top table.

A big thank you to Tom and Emma for choosing us to provide their stunning flowers and to the very talented Jodie Cooling for her amazing photography.  We have done several gorgeous weddings with Jodie and each time her photos have been beautiful. www.jodiecoolingphotography.com
